Insight Timer
With so many employees still working from home, it’s hard to know when you leave work. Insight Timer is a tool which helps employees reduce stress and learning something new. The software is available everywhere and anytime—online and as a smartphone app. You can pick topics you are interested, and your learning session starts.
Bonus: QUESTIONS FOR YOU
The poet Rainer Maria Rilke was famous for his invitation to “live the questions.” Here’s a passage from his Letters to a Young Poet.
“I want to beg you, as much as I can, dear sir, to be patient toward all that is unsolved in your heart and to try to love the questions themselves like locked rooms and like books that are written in a very foreign tongue. Do not now seek the answers, which cannot be given you because you would not be able to live them. And the point is, to live everything. Live the questions now. Perhaps you will then gradually, without noticing it, live along some distant day into the answer.“
In the COVID-era there’s much that’s out of our control, which presents some questions to consider:
- What are the questions that are urging you to “live with” now? How patient can you be with living these questions?
- What are you be trying to control that is, in fact, out of your control?
- What are the things in your world that you can control that you’ve been avoiding?
