The 1:1:1 January 14
Earlier this week I shared a post entitled, “All In” which received some very positive feedback. He’s one: “Your insights never miss the mark. This “All In” piece struck me between the eyes. I’m all in with you. Keep up the valuable writing.” I write for folks like this and like you.
Here are three things for you…
“Self-awareness is a critical component of organizational health. It’s tethered to the all-mighty trust metric.
Trust is the cultural linchpin that allows for a team’s ability to be collaborative, productive, innovative, and drive for exceptional results.”
“In the midst of hate, I found there was, within me, an invincible love.
In the midst of tears, I found there was, within me, an invincible smile.
In the midst of chaos, I found there was, within me, an invincible calm.
I realized, through it all, that…
In the midst of winter, I found there was, within me, an invincible summer.”

Of course, we’re all doing tons of Zoom meetings these days. There’s a tool that I’ve found that can capture live recordings of Zoom meetings and both transcribe them on the fly (live) and create transcripts for notes.
Ottr.ai — An app (for smartphones), a web app, and a plug-in for Zoom that allows live audio transcripts straight from Zoom.
A quick note on this. Anytime you’re considering recording any conversation, audio, video, etc., you have to ask and gain permission from the people you’re hoping to record in order to do so. It’s illegal, otherwise.
Bonus: 1 QUESTION FOR YOU
If your short-term future self spoke to you from 6-months out, post-Pandemic, what advice would you give you?
– On business…
– On caring for your team…
– On self-care…
– On caring for friends and loved ones…
If you have insights on this, feel free to share them with me here.
